A Technical Project Manager with aspirations to become a Development Manager is required for this leading Australian organisation!

This employer of choice is looking to bring on board a well seasoned IT professional with previous managerial experience to lead a team of around 8 .NET Developers on some leading edge .NET programs of work.

You will work together with the team to plan and execute projects, ensure the team has appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.

The willingness to work until the task is complete, use of own initiative and working to deadlines are a must! Excellent communication skills will be required.

You will need the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience in a software development organization required.
• Large/enterprise application development experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the software development cycle.
• Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving
• Skills in a team of approximately 10 developers.
• Experience in computer programming using .net.
• Project management experience.
• Experience solving complex and large-scare software problems.
