if you'e off to the UK for contractor work you should check out the NZD to pound rate right now. its looking pretty perky for us right now.

If you're looking to convert pounds to dollars i'd try to hang in there, for the pomms the rates is very very low. Best bet if you have to get some currency either way is too use a forex service. I did recently and it saved me around 250nzd that i would have lost due to bad rate the bank was offering.

yes!!!! tell me about it... the £ has gone from 2.85 to 2.4 ish. so i cant change any of £'s as I lose too much!!!!!

It’s very essential that you have to check with the international exchange rates while converting any foreign currency into NZD's. During very bad times of recession, exchange rates were very low for USD and POUNDS, ultimately the ones who went for exchange had to lose out. Now things are being better, unlike the worst times. Well at good times you can even save a lot of money.
